I Think you need to re-upload this one. Sound is out of sync and there’s all kinds of skipping and stuttering issues.
Norm..make sure you see the mass accession in Albuquerque during the International Balloon Festival someday.
Love the Diesel Sweeties t-shirt, Jeremy!
Hey guys, around the world non-stop in a balloon. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breitling_Orbiter
They Paid Eno $35,000 for the sound apparently. According to the Internets.
The first time I installed Linux, it was took 93 3.5″ floppies! It was SLS Linux, which later became Slackware Linux.
The most expensive jingle i’ve ever heard of must be Kraftwerk’s EXPO 2000 jingle, which they payed over US$ 200.000 for.

When I first heard about the McWhopper I thought it might have been someone trying to build a Whopper using a McDonald’s build a burger kiosk(https://mcdonalds.com.au/create-your-taste/). Turns out I was wrong.
Anyone happen to know where Jeremy got his Macbook decal? A link would be nice too 🙂
I was fortunate to be on a Mythbusters episode (airing around January) and they covered up the Apple logo with hazard tape cut to size as a part of their regular process of removing brands from the shot. Obviously, it stays.
Ahhh I see, lucky lucky man. appreciate the prompt response.
Will could you link the video you did about the 3D glasses hack ?
Found it

Well done on the “Incredibles” movie reference during the promotion/graduation debate
Hah! I hoped someone would appreciate that.
Hey Will, what is the name of that game you were talking about at the end of the episode? Victorian robots and heists sounds pretty cool!
I really hope Echo comes out with these peripherals for multiple rooms with mics and speakers in them. This would make the echo so much better. I think the Echo isn’t to pricey but at the same time speeding $200 PER room is too much. I would be fine with a $50 price tag on something like this. Here’s hoping they also keep coming out with more compatibility with home automation devices. I really don’t want to buy multiple hubs for all these things coming out.
The biggest problem with Samsung saying “read the manual” is that the manual that says don’t insert the pen backwards doesn’t come with the phone!
What they don’t tell you…. every year Amazon tracks metrics on it’s customers, and “Culls” those who are least valuable to the organization. Through a little known loophole in the Echo contract, if you don’t make the cut, they will come to your house and replace you with a new family, one that is more productive and successfull.
It’s nuts both how much I love the Echo, and how much I wish Google would just copy it (Is the OnHub a trojan horse Echo clone?!) as I’m all up in Google’s music and data infrastructure already.
The one caveat is the day after I bought it, my kids (9 and 6) learned how to add things to the shopping list.
Chianti was the Echo’s interpretation of my daughter asking for TNT.
There are tons of other non lethal crowd control they could use on the quads that dont require short distance or aiming. i.e. – tear gas. Makes me apprehensive but it’s also inevitable
I`m pretty sure he was talking about The swindle.
A bit late here but this weeks podcast reminded me:
I second on the Ubiquiti AP’s – I have 2 at home and our office has 5 of them, they work great and are really cost effective! Ordered one of the Unifi Security Gateways this week to test out as well.
