I knew Will didn’t actually leave Tested :), it was all a ruse.

oh the random stand
speaking of the “hoverboards” NYC’s MTA started bannng them from the entire transit system.
Your ads are causing all sorts of issues for me. Page is slow and laggy (i7, 16GB RAM) and the podcast stops occasionally to catch up. Trying to exit out of certain ads just doesn’t work. Yadda yadda.
is your geocities cite about doom level design? or a big list of movies?
I found that there is something specifically from the mailchip domain that was just refusing to load for me when I checked the site at work, causing almost everything to take forever to load (in some cases, apparently literally). Blocking only ads from that domain on adblocker seemed to solve the issue.
Not sure if it was related to my workplace’s connection or something with their filter software.
You’re not alone. I want to support Tested.com, but I had to turn Adblock back on because of those ads. Not only did they cause serious lag and constant loading, they were obnoxious.
The NYPD also technically banned them from city sidewalks, but they don’t really enforce it. They probably have better things to do than keep 14 year olds from falling on their faces.

So guys, the big thing I’m waiting to hear is how close to Vive and Oculus the PS VR is. It is pretty likely that it ends up being the dominant VR set at least this year. Are the Vive and Rift worth (including PC) basically twice the money as that of the PS VR full set?
Best VR coverage on the web, keep it up. Love it!
Also, if you guys want to support Tested.com and remove the ads, become a premium member!
What I gather from the multitude of podcasts and articles they’ve written as regards the Rift and the Vive, is that they’re really for the high-end market. Will himself said in this podcast that you shouldn’t expect the PlayStation VR to look as good as the Oculus or the Vive. In my opinion, it’s not that the PlayStation is ‘bad’ per se; it’s in a different market because of its hardware limitations. I think it could be a great stepping stone to a more fully immersive VR experience. When you’re looking at the cost of getting into a virtual reality system, the Rift and Vive are both $800+ not including a $1200 minimum gaming PC. If you’re at ground level with the PlayStation your total investment on hardware is about $850. For me personally, I’m in the PlayStation camp right now. I’ve already got the hardware so $450 is a reasonable expense on some new toys.
Whether or not something is “worth it” is difficult to quantify since value for money is rather subjective.
Harrison Ford’s airplane was a WW II Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR trainer, not a fighter.
Quote of the podcast (as of 22:30): Norm: “Helicopters don’t buy themselves.”
Apparently there’s a Raider’s deleted scene where they show how Indy hangs on to the sub:
“According to Lawrence’s Kasdan’s original script, the submarine only goes beneath the water far enough so that its periscope is still sticking out of water. Indy clings to this, and then uses his whip to tie himself to as it drags him through the water. Seriously. He even notices sharks swimming around him during one moment.” via http://whatculture.com/film/7-notable-movie-plot-holes-that-were-explained-in-deleted-scenes.php/5
Pay the Premium Membership its cheap and shows your support. Plus if you watch it on Tested.com you can see it properly.
You can build an Oculus or Vive ready PC for around $700.
Indy 5 – why not bring back a grown-up Short Round to be the action star and the one to eventually take over the franchise? That seems like a no-brainer to me.
