also the linux angle fascinates me. if you told me twenty years ago that nintendo would sell a linux-based miniature console emulator i would not have believed it. they went from a 8 bit 6502 MOS chip to a quad core 32 bit Allwinner ARM chip. inside this box is the story of world technology history in 2 decades!

ahh let Nokia bring back the original 3310 I would happily bin my apple for it. those phones are amazing battery wasn’t a problem the thing never broke. and the default ring tone and snake the game r just amazing. people also were friendly and productive in work as they weren’t checking Facebook every 5 minutes.
I’ll absolutely be buying a 3310 for my wife if it comes out. She only uses her phone for calls, not even SMS. It’s a perfect match… Now the next trick will be what’s going on with the major carriers? Will they be willing to do a voice only plan? Right now Verizon is grumpy about it, will that always be the case?
