Podcast - This Is Only a Test

Episode 11 – The Eleventh Episode Spectacular – 5/13/2010

On a very special celebration of their 11th episode, Will and Norm talk about a bunch of stuff, including the Sony Dash and the history of alarm clocks, rumor’s of Google’s tablet, pricing for the Evo 4g, the second iPhone that Apple lost track of, and the upcoming Firefox 4.0. All that, plus lunch options and a brief interlude on Friendster’s problems, on this week’s episode of This is Only a Test.

  1. HypoXenophobia just replied to your comment:

I think they got 2 shipped to the Tested offices and they both got at least 1 personally. They both said they had iPad’s waiting at their houses when they got home and they had 2 to start with at the offices. “

Hm, well I believe Norm drove over as soon as he got his. Will had one, then during the livestream, Norm mentioned Will’s wife finally got hers. So at least 3, regardless I’m still curious if it was rebuilt.

  2.  Silicon Studios developed 3D Dot Games Heroes. From Software just published it in Japan. Don’t worry about it though even Ryan was incorrect.

  3. Mouse/Keyboard is the best for FPS, you can’t turn fast enough with a gamepad, as I experienced today while playing a game against a bunch of 13-14 yr olds at an event because I was bored…

If one got behind me ingame, there was almost nothing I could do to survive, but I still managed to get the third highest score on the round I played, behind the people who got to the vehicles first. It may have something to do with the fact that I rarely play games with my thumbs, but I don’t think so, as the kids failed pretty hard except the ones in the tanks… They were running around rocket launching each other into the air and destroying each others cover, while I just lay low and machine gunned them as they came into view.

Could have done far better with Mouse/Keyboard, meh

  4. Does anyone know how to get the podcast on my blackberry storm?  I am having trouble with podtrapper, which I normally use for podcast…   Or if you have an idea for a  better blackberry app that would be awesome!
