Plus, a new Marvel-themed pinball machine and the hype for Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond! Thanks to Chloe for making this week’s theme music!
I get Norm’s point about Disney’s decision to put Mulan on D+ exclusively being a disservice to the filmmakers, but after seeing it, it is probably for the best. I don’t think it would have done great in theatres, because it is just not very good. Terrible plot, told in a disjointed fashion and one of the worst battle sequences I’ve seen in a movie made in the 21st century. I see the Chinese response is also… not great. It was my first time seeing one of the live-action Disney remakes, and if this is the level they are on, the lackluster response makes a lot more sense.
