Bad news guys. Giraffes are relatively unique in that they move both legs (front and back) on the same side of their body at the same time. As opposed to most animals who move their left front leg and their right back leg at the same time, giraffes move the left back leg and the left front leg at the same time.

I’d love to see the mechanism required to replicate that gait in something like this, I’m sure it would be fascinating 🙂 shifting counterweights perhaps?
It would definitely need some way to utilize a more rhythmic gait. hmmmm…
