Watch All of Tested: The Show 2015!

Here it is. Tested: The Show 2015 in its entirety. Watch the full hour and forty five minute stage show we put on at the Bay Area Science Festival last month, from Michael Shindler’s amazing tintype demonstration to Adam’s Talking Room interview with NASA Deputy Administrator Dava Newman. The individual videos will be up on YouTube, but Tested Premium Members get to watch it early!

  1. As someone who would probably never be able to make it to this in person; I whole-heartedly applaud your decision to put it up in it’s entirety, here on Tested!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! 😀

  2. oops, didn’t realize it was for Premium members only; nevermind! 😛

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still awesome, and all, just…!

  3. Well, if I really want to – I can just Airplay to my Apple TV from my iPhone 6+. It’s the same as Chromecasting… BUT, I use the YouTube app on the Apple set top more than anything as it’s most convenient.

  4. this makes premium really feel like i’m getting my money’s worth. not that it wasn’t before but now it feels really full.

  5. Thank you so much for putting this up, I (like everyone else I’m sure) REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate it 🙂 hopefully one day I’ll have an excuse good enough to make it down to ComicCon and attend Tested events in person 🙂 Thanks again!

  6. I didn’t think we were getting another Ippolito/Norm painting video, since they finished their week early, but I clicked my premium bookmark anyway – best of all surprises!

  7. Thank you Will! my only regret is that i didn’t find tested.com up until the rebranding. Watching these videos is always soul wrenching enjoyable.

  8. YESS!!! FInally! I’ve been waiting for this to be released for so many weeks! Looking forward to watching all of it!

  9. good premium content thanks… I want t support you guys as a member in years to come but the lego building was all I felt I was getting as a premium member ( not really into legos)

    THANKS for this one!!

  10. As a premium member I’m still disappointed that I’m required to run Flash in order to view these videos. Alas i will not run that janky ass software on my computer so will once again miss the premium content.

Come on guys lets get it sorted, these could easily be made private on youtube or a download link provided for premium members to view safely without resorting to outdated plugins openly known for their security issues

you don’t need to run flash. there is a workaround that is pretty easy.

i have been watching tested premium for months on Linux using One Simple Trick 🙂

Run Chrome and install the User Agent Switcher extension, then make the website think you are on a Mac by switching your useragent to Safari or iOS ipad/iphone. (basically the agent switcher installs a new button in the upper right… click on it, then click down to ‘safari’ or ‘ios’), Log in to your premium account and the CDN used by Tested will deliver the HTML5 player version of the content. No flash used.

The downside is you need to remember to switch back to “chrome mode” if you want to use the web normally after you watch the video.

  12. Such a good show, guys, so sad not to be in SF any longer so I could have seen it in person.

Good luck on the VR-adventure ! Curiosity and enthusiasm, you can’t ask for better guides for adventure and exploration so I’m sure you’ll find success. 🙂

  13. Thanks for posting it up here, guys. It’s unlikely that I’ll be able to see the show in person, so this is the next best thing. All the content was awesome, and it was really touching to see Will’s farewell speech.

  14. Excellent viewing, and thanks for putting the whole lot up. That last presentation from Will was really nice, too. 🙂

  15. Thank you guys so much for posting this. I live thousands of kilometers from you, and I didn’t have a chance to make the show. Thanks so much.

  16. Yep, totally worth the price of a premium membership.

Now excuse me, I have quite a large backlog of premium videos to catch up on and only… 32 hours before I have to go back to work on Monday.

    Completely agree! Thanks Tested team!

  18. Thanks guys. Good to watch. As said, I’ll never see you in person, but I can enjoy this.

    Go Well Will

  19. Gotta pay the bills somehow. Ad money usually ain’t too much.

Suggest maybe they set up a Patreon if you’d rather contribute that way. IMO – Premium is the best way to support the site. There really isn’t THAT much premium stuff. All the segments form the Live show are going up on youtube in pieces. The build videos are pretty much long podcasts with a lot of idle chatter. I mostly just put them on in the background. I’ll learn some stuff along the way from the banter, but the core content is on youtube already or articles already. Really, I don’t NEED to watch 3 people build LEGO sets for 4 hours with full attention. Second monitor while I work, or just a buried tab that plays along.

Don’t get me wrong, I feel like I get my money’s worth, but I don’t think people are missing out by not subscribing.

  20. Thanks guys for the post! This made membership absolutely worth it! I listen the podcasts every drive I take so thanks for keeping me sane! Wish I could have been there for the live show.

  21. So great to watch in one go. I’m a big fan of tested longform style, this way we get both out of the same content 🙂

  22. This is great. Keep up the awesome job your doing and have a happy upcoming holiday season. I’ve got a backlog of Tested content to watch it’ll keep me busy til mid Jan 🙂

  23. After following Tested for a few years and really wanting to make it out for these shows, but not being able to, thank you for letting Premium members see what goes on. This was extremely cool, especially the Talking Room and the live Tin Type demonstration!

  24. Premium member but “content unavailable”. This makes me sad…

[edit:and after posting a comment.. it works O_O]
