It’s not the cutaway version, unfortunately.
This build got me inspired, so I found a similar model on thingiverse and made one of my own. This was my first time using toothpaste for chipping, but i think it worked alright. I did the green chipping with toothpaste, and the red with liquid latex which I found easier to remove. Both left really nice jagged outlines though.
I borrowed a lot of the techniques the guys used for weathering, but I also added some rust with a gritty murky brown paint and an orange drybrush.
I’m officially addicted to 3D printing now!
