They more or less always are, until you ask them about something they really love. The cold obnoxious air that normally hangs around them changes is heart warming passion. At least thats my experience with Russians at the Customs border here 🙂

Probably just stiff, unpredictable winds around all that equipment (swirling all over) and people in the area. Good chance of not being able to control very well. Hit a person or hit some metal and lose lift as it goes over the edge of the boat.
