Lego with friends is the reason I joined Tested premium. Keep making these amazing videos.
This has been one of the best premium series so far.
Hope we can see more of Phil in the future. How about a “Inside Black Blood of the Earth” episode?
Truly loved this lego with friends, again. It is an awesome concept.
Phil tells some great stories, the lego build looked really cool. Yeah, more of this please! 😉
This is very much Norm and Will’s version of the talking room and I can’t wait for Monday’s extra bit.
I regrettably have one issue. There was music that leaked in at a very low volume around the 40 minute mark. It was very distracting and I tried desperately to get through it, but in the end just fast forwarded past it. For me it ruined the last bit and left me frustrated, a bad way to end the segment. I wanted to hear the discussion and just didn’t see the point. Hopefully it can be avoided in the future.
It would be cool to see a How It’s Made type feature on Black Blood of the Earth some day if Phil wants to share.
As for the kit talked about at the end are we talking about LEGO or a regular model kit? Either way, can’t wait.
I’m pretty sure, that it will be the Deagostini millenium falcon, the $1,500 kit at 4 issues per month.
I agree! That would be really interesting
Oh wow. That makes sense. That’s quite a build.
Ordered my taster set from BBoTE cant wait. I +1 the How It’s Made of BBoTE.
The butt cannons blew boba fett’s mind.
LEGO with Friends is definately the best premium content on the site right now. I’m really happy to be able to enjoy the stories, and the builds. And I do agree with VacFink that this is Will and Norm’s Talking Room.
Only downside is that I now feel a need to go by a Slave I and build it myself (not to speak all the other cool LEGO kits that are out there). It is one downside I can live with, however. Keep up the great work guys.
The big 30 feet turts heading to the southern ocean. Need to know info you can’t get anywhere else.
I recommend you both build a Tower Bridge 10214
Oh, I’ve done that. So many, many fiddly bits. I don’t recommend it on three Manhattans. You spend most of your time on the floor looking for the fiddly bits you dropped.
Oh, yes, I await the hilarity, having built one myself as well!
Watch out when ordering Black blood of the earth, first they changed the shipping date to the end of June when it originally said no later then June 7th. Now when I check my status it’s saying I haven’t ordered anything and Paypal has already pulled the money. Hopefully this can get fixed, It’s just really annoying when a website says no later then a certain date then changes that date and removes your order but takes your money…
Disregard my first comment, I received a quick reply from Phil Broughton. The order dates change when new slots for orders go up, I should have read the home page news first. This is what I get for not having my coffee before I post something. His customer service is great, so again disregard my first reply.
Can we have Phil back, like, all the time? The question you guys need to ask yourselves at the end of any given week is, ‘Have we had enough Phil Broughton this week?’
Man, this was a great series! Like previously stated, Phil Broughton is a great guest, the more you can get him on, the better!
And just a side-note, Tested, you have Excellent(tm) customer support! Seriously, kudos to them.
Just completed building the Lego batman tumbler tank, it was awesome building while watching Lego with friends. I would recommend this kit to everyone, it would be awesome to see Will and Norm tackle this kit.
Man, Phil is a real cool guy.
great series, Phil has some great life stories
The snow trackers are actually illegal to own, they are owned by the British and US government and there has never been one sold to anyone but the governments, read an article on British Officers who were jailed because they ordered spare parts to build their own.
Wallace Koehler was the “Axe Man” and he had a bucket of Liquid Cadmium.
