We have one model kit complete! Can you guess which one was finished first? And look at that amazing leg detail on the MG Gundam kit!

  1. I heard Disney is bringing back Darkwing Duck, that would be an awesome cos-play! I would love to see how you incorporate/mold feathers, build/fabricate DW’s gas gun, maybe a Launchpad McQuack buddy costume 🙂

  2. Long long before we had massive articulation there were model kits that came together super quick 🙂

  3. there’s an episode…. doing the putty/repairs on a model And/or resin cast that’s not so pristine….

  4. The usual hurdle with resins and molding materials is that unlike the extrusion based plastic industry required for most if not all national exports there is usually not much of an internal market expediting the toxicological and environmental assessments necessary to import chemical compounds.

Which is why most companies with a foothold in regional markets carry equivalent product. Either licensed or simulated.

Usually if you search something like ‘dental prosthetic supplies state/region/country X’ You’ll find the likeliest candidates as most use terms like technical polymer provider rather than ‘plastic gloop that lives in the tummies of sea turtles’,

Most have either a sale rep/Q&A/cross reference chart/local affiliate or distribution charter.

If you’re getting nowhere with their data sheets acting a bit swish with their sales reps (i.e. as a private citizen, they’ll shut down fast when they figure you out if you’re not their usual demographic) tends to net you fully decent equivalency/replacement info.

Keep in mind though that the reason a product might not be available could just as easily be climate based; I have permanently sticky epoxies (it seems to function like bad electrical tape where I live) yet green stuff bakes solid in 20min. (we avg. 60% humidity locally)

  5. Ahhhh finally catching up on videos! Been waiting for more gunpla stuff. I feel like every builder should do an RX-178 mk ii at least once. Classic, timeless look. The RG line is very manageable but incredibly detailed for it’s size. Would love to see you guys finally do some paint and weathering on a kit.

  6. Myself i always start doing the weapons first to get them out of the way so i can enjoy the mech build part and alway starts at the feel and work my way up leaving the head for last.
