A massive box filled with packing peanuts and voluminous zip-lock bags just arrived at the cave! That can only mean one thing: time for the unveiling of Adam’s newest costume acquisition from Prop Store. This costume has it all: armor, a helmet, shield, sword, and spear–and it’s all gorgeously made for a big budget film.

i dont understand, whats “thracian” about that shield?
thats a medieval jousting shield, WHAT do you think that cut out is for? that means its a CAVALRY shield, specifically for a lance using knight, and thracian cavalry didnt have shields like that at all, Im tellin ya its medieval 🙂
man I dunno what kinda film they are makin, are you sure its about classical period thracians?
ok, yeah thats a bronze style helmet i suppose, I can only assume the props dept cant tell 450 BC shields from 1450 AD, thats really how far off true that shield is mate 🙂
i also think that body armour, a muscled pseudo linothorax, is supposed to lace up on the RIGHT side, theres no seam on the left cause thats where you get STABBED .. or .. Ive got that wrong completely, maybe the seam IS on the left cause its under your shield .. in either case, it definetly does NOT lace up both sides, its only got one seam if you get me
