Inside Adam Savage’s Cave: Hellboy II Prop
Adam shares his latest acquisition from Prop Store’s collection of original movie props: a costume piece from Hellboy II: The Golden Army. These horns and wig were part of King Balor’s makeup–the one-armed king of Elfland from the beginning of the film. It’s a beautiful piece that now finds its home in the cave!

Argh! Pet peeve – never cut downwards when opening a box: I’ve seen $600 dollar art books ruined by a slashed cover.
Okay, that would actually be funny as hell. Get a few folks that look similar to Adam, and have them all dress up as him, same outfit and everything, then walk the floor together.
It would be very cool to see Adam wearing that, properly attached and blended into his skin.

King Balor would be an amazing costume! I’d be too scared of the headpiece getting damaged though. The Golden Army is a really fantastic/visually stunning film and much different than the first Hellboy- more like Hellboy in Del Toro’s world.
