Tested: DJI Phantom 4 Pro Quadcopter Drone
Less than a year after releasing the Phantom 4, DJI has unveiled the Phantom 4 Professional quadcopter. We test and review this new drone, which is equipped with a new 4K camera system, environment sensors on five sides, and a controller with built-in display. Here’s why we think the Phantom 4 Pro is the true successor to the Phantom 3, and the best consumer drone on the market.

While i appreciate shallow depth of field from a cinematography standpoint, it really seem like the product being reviewed should be in focus.
Yea Tested has been dicking around with their photography for a few months now. I agree that this was a poor choice. But still a decent review.
i can see why the one-shot with the copter out of focus bothers some people
but i felt like the rest of the video is very artistic, esp the framing of some of those shots. i rewatched it muted, with ambient music playing…
Lots of great new features for flying safely but I’m still really wary of all of the footage from these quadcopters, pretty much everything I have seen seems to suffer from too much compression and annoying in camera settings like sharpening.
You guys have done a great job grading it up nicely in resolve and you seem to have taken control of those pesky in camera settings, but whenever I have come across footage from drones at work it feels like it falls apart really quickly as soon as you punch a bit of contrast into it.
If you’re limited to only 30 minutes of flight time I don’t see why you can’t up the data rate of the video capture and preserve all the fine detail that you want from aerial photography. As soon as you’ve got too much going on in the frame the h.264 codec can’t cope even at 100Mbps and it looks like you’re flying over a town made of fudge.
I think DJI Phantom 4 is too expensive for me, I like DJI Phantom 3 SE better, the price is near to Xiaomi drone 4K
