Hands-On: HTC Vive Tracker and Deluxe Audio Strap
We go hands-on with HTC’s new Vive Tracker, which allows developers to make positionally-tracked wireless accessories for Virtual Reality. We test tracked rifles, baseball bats, and even a firehose. Plus, we put on HTC’s new Deluxe Audio Strap, which makes the Vive much more comfortable to wear.

How’s the audio quality of the new headset? On par with Rift?
There was a B-roll shot of someone using the new strap in the background with the headphones flipped up and using a regular Sony full ear cups. More noise reduction for busy showroom or were they just not actually pumping audio through yet?
It’s using LED’s. that’s how it’s sending and receiving. They flash the lights on and off really fast. You know. Like ships and spot lights sending S.O.S. Dots n dashes. Faster than the eye can see. This was my favorite display of genius. Turning the lights on and off. The guy who invented that tech is in the next town over.
