Does his built-in programming include the ability to cover an area, like with the cleaning you were trying to get Spot to do, can it be told to traverse the entire area, or do you have to walking him through it?
I think a great test would be a “search” function. Take something like a rock climbing helmet or a sneaker or a backpack, hide it in the parking area and see if spot can find it on its own. This could be good for inventory management or search and rescue.
I hope we someday see a spot dance troupe!
Inventory management is still better, and more cheaply, addressed with active RFID. It’s a remote control walking platform with four legs, not a full-blown artificial dog.
