this exercise was sooooo much fun to do! i really want to do more of these oversize sculptures!
Such a great tutorial. And a good exercise for the beginner. I love the reference to 3d-printing. I still find people who don’t know anything about 3d-printing. So my thought to show the profiles of the different layers would be to put the reference model in a cup or bowl and slowly fill it with an opaque liquid a little at a time.
Thank you Frank for this video. Very informative and nice to see a cheep, but still cool exercise for those of us getting in to art forms.
Would like to see a giant hand (or fist) being crafted.
An oversized brain model would be amazing, and you could talk about the different parts as you model them!
It’s also soooooo great to see you have that fun Frank! 🙂
Really great video1 It would be nice to see a multi-part series where you take something like this through refinement, surface texturing and molding.
I’d like to see an oversized eye/eyelid sculpt.
This what i enjoy about tested. Such a variety of content. EV car reviews and giant anatomical sculpture lessons.
now you need a Ceti eel larva to go with it,
That was a pretty cool lesson.
Did you ever think that there’d be more video evidence of you and Norm playing with his ears together?
I love Norm’s ineptitude.
