Inside Adam Savage’s Cave: Spilled Sortimo Storage Box Sorting!
Adam has long kept his workshop hardware organized and stored in his favorite Sortimo storage boxes, and we’ve always wondered what would happen if one of these cases falls off the rack and spills. It finally happened, and Adam recruits a surprise guest to help him sort the many hundreds of machine bolts and get them back in the case, a project that ends up taking many weeks!

This is a daft point I know, but it’s a pity different screws aren’t made different colours… I can understand why they’re not, but it would have speeded things up here 😉

Forgive me if you already know this, but I’ve heard OCD sufferers don’t love it when those of us who are of an ordered and particular mind conflate those two things. Kindly meant – if you can override your verbal habit to a different term, I’m sure they’d appreciate it.

Where do you get your hardware from? I am looking to begin my shop first shop and am looking at building a DIY sortimo rack for my growing hardware supply. You mention in the video they come in packs of 100 but not where from.
