That truly looked like a lot of fun!!!
I was working as staff and so sad I was not able to see you as Starlord!
I was wondering how quickly you would be able to be found out with the top of your head and hair still sticking out like that. I guess pretty quickly! Nonetheless, I’m sure you and everyone else had a wonderful time seeing you. Looking forward to seeing the build videos!
Love that you danced through the convention. You are so good with the fans. Respect that so much.
I don’t know what a Star Lord is but the kid in the Public Enemy shirt made my day.
The Man in the Iron Mask!
Didn’t see you Saturday. Did you walk Friday?
The most impressive part was that your were BOLTED into that helmet – talk about Claustrophobic!
That’s Brave
Adam….I see you have a Sony Walkman TPS-L2 print on your belt, there…I wish I could have made it to SVCC as my cosplay is screen-accurate and to get a side by side with you would have been AWESOME.
BTW, Hi!, I’m ‘Staar Lord Maan’ on the RPF and you helped me get my helmet sorted out a couple years back, (thanks for that). During my build, I somehow acquired three TPS-L2’s, (one of which was a pile of parts which serves as belt decoration for another cosplayer, and one other that “sort-of” works. (I have the drive belts and idler tire for it – just not installed yet, but the motor works in it). I’d like to get that extra TPS-L2 to *you* in exchange for your holster technology, (my weapons are weight-jacked for kids in hospitals to react to the weight of them). My element guns kept falling off my 3D printed holsters, (I’ve resorted to Velcro to keep them attached). I also need to know about your trench coat…I have an Arm Patch mold I’m willing to share ,(that Vol. 1 patch appears multiple times on the trench). was that a modded Magnoli? Gloves too?
Having suffered that helmet, myself, I sympathize with the limited view thing. Rain-X wipes work wonderfully on the interior lenses for defogging. Also, do you have blue lenses to neutralize the red?
Okay, I can go on forever…I’ll stop now. Let me know if you’re down for receiving that Walkman. I’m in the Bay Area. Come And Get Your Love!
Lantz Why didn’t I think of that? I have the same style helmet and only wish it had a trunk hinge assembly with a better latching system than earth magnets, LOL!
