Thanks for this, Adam! I’m sure most people don’t even think about the efforts that go into making displays and such – and that they’re all custom. The ‘behind the scenes’ look is great – these feel like the ‘extras’ on a DVD about the Smithsonian that I never watched.
Would be fantastic to get more information on the machined acrylic extrusion setup to make display cases. Can’t find anything further online at present.
Chris did not expect you to be so interested in the machine that puts grooves in the acrylic cases… and I’m super glad you were. Fascinating stuff.
