I’ve wanted to build swords and armor since I was little. The first time I saw A knights Tale and Pirates of the Caribbean all I wanted to do was be a blacksmith. Watching this series is really wonderful and satisfying to the parts of me that have always dreamed of doing something similar.

This reminded me so much of my childhood and adolescence. I used to draw armor all day and want to build it someday. Of course, the only armor I know how to make is EVA foam lol

LOVE< LOVE loving this series. The marriage between the design on paper and then to metal is visceral. When doing metalwork the "feel" of the tools and the metal guides you and can be hard to put into words.
