Adam Savage’s King Arthur Armor Build, Part 7
For the pieces to all fit together, Adam has to attach leather straps and brass buckles to each piece, giving the armor the ability to move with ease. And before the final fitting, Adam and Terry add some beautiful weathering to the suit!

Such a shame the series had to come to an end, but a fantastic build, with such an insight into the craftsmanship involved.
Loved this series. I too was profoundly influenced by Boorman’s Excalibur. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy this vicariously, sincerely.
This series was outstanding, thankyou!
I have been enjoying every single part of this adventure. Love seeing this kind of enthusiasm and craftsmanship.
Already looking forward to the next series
All I can say is thank you Tested and thank you Terry English. This series has been an absolute delight.
I will echo the sentiments of others. What a fantastic and informative series.
Question for Adam: Does he have an apprentice or two that he is teaching these skills to ?
Thank you for sharing this with us!
What a fantasic, delightful series. Cant wait for more from Tested team.
But guys, please do something about the video player. I kept wanting to pause to look closer at some details. But the player blurs the video in pause mode, making that impossible. Rewinding and random-access just dont work. If i want to rewind to couple seconds earlier with left-arrow the video actually seems to just jump forward. I was trying to watch the moment where Terry puts the apprentice mark over and over again. But the player made it really hard to do…
Otherwise great stuff. Keep up the good work!
I can’t remember what I paid to be a premium member but I can’t imagine it covers content as in-depth and wonderful as this series. A joy and inspiration to watch a master at work and an honor to glean from what lessons were taught. More more more, please!!!
Tested crew! Thank you so much for putting this video series together! And thank you Terry for your willingness to share your process, your work is incredible. Inspiring and exhilarating, thank you.
Lovely series, fantastic job everyone involved. Shame it had to end but thoughtfully enjoyed it.
Thank you for this incredible build. Worth every penny of the membership. Anything else now is just a bonus.
Thanks to Terry and his family too.
I had the privilege of meeting Terry on the weekend, we had a chat about this project. He is such a nice chap and I was very honored to get a small piece of his work too!
Brilliant series, hats off to everyone involved. This is why I love my tested membership.
This totally made getting the membership all worth while. I’m really going to miss coming home from work on Mondays to watch the next one now that it’s over. Hope there’s lots more to come like this!!!
What a great signature!
Again, absolutely terrific series. Was a delight.
Wow wow wow… your run through the woods made me laugh out loud
I think Adam is excited. This is the best!
This series was absolutely wonderful and a joy to watch! More please!
This was an awesome series. I love seeing Adam so excited!!!
brilliant series!
Thanks for such a delightful series! I am so happy that you were able to do this with Mr. English. Great work! I look forward to more from you.
Please keep making more long form/mulit-episode features! this was great
This was an awesome series. This is exactly what I was hoping for when I brought premium. It’s already a joy to watch Adam working. Watching a master of his trade like Terry is beyond words. I could have watched hours more of this.
Hope Terry has an apprentice or two to carry the skill on in the far future – it’s would be a shame to see his years of experience be lost.
I wonder what the next project will be? I really enjoyed the interactions between a jack of all trades and a master of one. It was the same with the building of the muppets – Adam allows us to live vicariously through him.
That said I would also be up for a involved build in Adams shop. How is the T-600 coming along?
YES! Thank you. I fully second this. The player is attractive, but clumsy to use.
Did Terry ever show you how to do the wrap on Excalibers handle?
nicely done guys, an absolute pleasure to watch every minute
Lots of great build tips to be learned from this!
Quite a bit of inspirational info in this series. Not quite like going through an apprenticeship, but this will have to do for now.
Remarkable!
