haha, not the only holes in their memories. Sheryl Crow did the song for Tomorrow Never Dies, and Scaramanga was in Man with The Golden Gun with Roger Moore, not Connery. To be fair, there’s been a lot of these movies! 😛

Dalton was alright. I blame his movies more than the actor especially in light of their lower budgets. Found it hilarious how much shit the Dalton Bond took as so matter of factly terrible over the years and the same folks (admittedly along with many others) sing such high praise of the Craig Bond. Especially given say how bad the latter Moore Bond was…or Brosnan for that matter. Bond is a professional government sanctioned killer. Some affectations make sense to cut the edge (that Dalton lacked), just don’t get buried in them.
Also, Norm, Matt Damon, in interviews contrasting Bond/Bourne, and Alan Moore, in the Black Dossier, probably agree with your assessment of Bond, at least the literary version of him.
Great podcast again. I feel these podcasts would really benefit from some show notes though.

Not sure about this one, but some, such as the Skeptic-movement and literature ones, could benefit from a list of authors, people, organizations etc. that were being discussed. Some of the more exotic names, when spoken quickly in an excited manner, can be tricky to google. 🙂

Rewatch some of the Connery and Moore films and see if you are as adamant about that. For example, in Goldfinger he wrestles Pussy Galore (who is supposedly a lesbian) to the ground and has sex with her, very “She wants it, just doesn’t know it yet” of him, no?

I still really like the Roger Moore ones, specifically because they are so silly and goofy.
I also like the Pierce Brosnan ones a whole lot because they’re great action movies.
Pierce Brosnan is my favorite Bond actor.
Also, I hate Casino Royale, and think most of the Connery Bond movies are boring.
