What a great guest!
I loved the Apollo 11 film. Every Space geek in the world should go see it and take a nerdy kid who is nervous about showing their love for science or technology or history or anything along to show them its ok to share their interests with the world
Wow, Sarah is an amazing guest, I could easily have listened to another hour of this. Please have her back one day!
I really love these episodes where you have scientists who are super passionate about their field.
This and the episode with Joe ‘Sequence the Bejeezus out of it’ DeRisi are two of my absolute favourites.
Thought you might be interested to know your mate Shane who played the monster with Adam in ‘A Farewell to Arms’ is currently in a series of vehicle testing commercials on TV in New Zealand. They’re kind of amusing in a Mad Max style (ad;VTNZ Road Commander) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A84OyLTUpRQ
Another great guest that I need to learn more about.
With the release of Captain Marvel (I very much enjoyed it) there comes a time to re rank the movies. Due to an odd shower thought an acquaintance built http://www.rankthemcu.com/ to help out.
I’m super glad to hear that Adam might re-evaluate “Umbrella Academy” after Will’s comments. We totally loved it and really want as many people to watch it as possible – we’re desperate for a 2nd season.
I agree that it sticks the landing in some really special ways – I hope Adam gives it a go soon. (I’d also love to hear an Umbrella Academy/Russian Doll Spoilercast – Maybe a “Netflix Series Double-Header”?
Fantastic, hope Sarah comes back!
I know it’s not a great movie, but I wonder if the beginning of Timeline is on point… It’s similar of with she is describing.
What is on the little tripod next to the H6?
Nevermind, it looks like it’s the Insta360 Evo.
