Podcast - Adam Savage Project
Apollo 11 – Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project – 3/19/19
For this special episode, we’re joined by Todd Miller, the director and editor of the new Apollo 11 documentary film now playing in theaters. Todd shares insights about how archivists discovered and restored previously unseen footage for the Apollo 11 launch, and the painstaking task of matching that footage with NASA audio. We can’t recommend the film enough!

Awesome. Thank you very much. I loved the movie
Great film. Saw it twice. I got to meet Stephen Slater at SXSW and it’s an extraordinary feat by the film creators to bring this historical documentary to life. Well done TESTED!
And I saw Apollo 11 launch in 1969. This film, I say it again, hits a home run with the vibe and feel of what it was like to witness the launch and being at Cape Kennedy in 1969.
M.Miller, Thank you so much for this great film, Already seen it twice, Just stunning, feels a time-traveling experience.
This was one of the best episodes of the podcast in recent months. I wish Adam could have been there. I would have loved to hear his reaction to some of this stuff!
GREAT episode and energy in the room!! Sad that Adam couldn’t be there!
Tested should connect with the Apollo real-time project and make it a part of an extended group build (Apollo audio streaming as the soundtrack) or running vlog…! 🤞
Great episode! It was really cool to learn of the extreme depth of coverage that NASA had. I can’t wait to see the film. You guys are all such avid NASA/Apollo enthusiasts, I think you’d be entertained to interview my dad for an additional perspective. He was one of the Life magazine “exclusive” reporters covering Apollo 11. He has great tales of cocktail parties with the crew and the post-flight interviews.
