  1. I love the colab stuff with the old WM crew. Makes me nostalgic…

Nostalgic for two months ago, but nostalgic nonetheless.

  2. This show just gets me in the mood to do Physics homework. You are largely responsible for my academic success.

  3. Uh, are all the podcast going to focus as much on science? I love science. Love it. Just not that interested in listening to a podcast about it.

    Just curious.

  4. Uh, are all the podcast going to focus as much on science? I love science. Love it. Just not that interested in listening to a podcast about it.

    Just curious.

I do kinda wish they would keep a Tech focus. Tested was my source for tech news, and I don’t mind the science spin, but it feels like the Tech has been brought way back and more replaced than enhanced by the science. I still enjoy the content and the podcast, just… I’m a tech guy first, as are most of us.

  5. A Weyland-Yutani situation, like “Water & Power” from Tank Girl! A possible massive conglomerate cartel such as this wouldn’t be complete without a creepy Malcolm McDowell-alike CEO.

  6. i dug into this whole intel tick tock after the discussion @ 1:18:30-1:20:20

I, like norm think that a tick sounds smaller than a tock, so it kind of makes sense for me, I just run with it.

Cept for the beginning of course, cause like brad and garry said, you can’t start on a tick if that is the incremental upgrade to the tock’s new architecture

seems like intels justifys it by just adding an initial TOCK at the beginning, then going tick tock tick tock.

  7. Do they talk about Star Trek?

They always talk about Star Trek.

Goddamn, so many good Gary moments in this episode. Grim stuff.

  8. Thank you sir! Did he buy them straight from the artist or did he mention that?

I believe all his stuff is limited editions so you can’t get them anymore. The easiest way to get Olly Moss’ stuff is to follow him on Twitter and keep an eye out for when he announces something new.

  9. Regarding Google Drive, I think Will saying “I’m really happy with Dropbox; I pay them ten bucks a month” is kinda weird or at least sidesteps the point far too casually. The point being that Google now offers 100GB cloud storage for half the price of the 50GB plan @ Dropbox (and Skydrive is even cheaper). That seems like a big deal to me.

  10. Is there something wrong with the feed? The podcast refuses to update in itunes and on my separate RSS.

  11. About the Cloud People, Karma doesn’t exist, so fuck the blue hippies while we still have the chance. Otherwise we die by the cloud people before gaining anything.
