I deeply despise Polygon. They live on manufactured controversy and social justice warrior idiocy.
“We’re not trying to take that away” and then shouting about violence, supposed “misogyny” (which only means anything they don’t like having to do with women), the need for change. Talk about inclusiveness while proposing that only minorities have anything interesting to say. Shut up, white boy.
No one opposes new, interesting ideas and games. The internet embraces them, if they are good as games, and they become great successes. Papers please sold really well, for example.
The only time the internet opposes you is when you pretend like being offended at something makes you right, and your “offendor” wrong.
