stop editing podcast(s). In my opinion editing a podcast completely defeats the purpose of “long form conversation”. I enjoy uncomfortable silence and and off topic tangents keep the conversation natural before this turns in to talk radio or worse NPR

I have a bunch of stuff on Steam from Humble Bundles that I will never play (when I buy the bundle for a single game). I have also put away the Xbox 360 and gone back to PC gaming and have picked up things I’ve played a lot on the 360 during Steam sales just because I liked the games that I doubt I will go back to (just picked up the first two Batman games for $15 that I beat on the 360 while getting Arkham Origins to play for the first time).

RE: Phone home screens.
I go with two screens.
Main: Weather and calendar widgets at the top, phone/SMS/email apps in the lower left, Chrome/Evernote/Maps/App Drawer in the lower right.
Second: Music widget at the top, photo apps in the first column (camera, various galleries), movie/video apps in the second (Netflix, YouTube, IMDb), time wasters in the third (Feedly, Awful, a folder of games), file management in the fourth (Dropbox/OneDrive/file manager).
I get rid of the persistent bar of four apps at the bottom as that just wastes space for me.
I also hide a lot of apps in the app drawer. Anything on the home screens is hidden as are any apps that just run in the background or that I never use. That leaves only things that I would want to run, but not often enough to be on a home screen.
There’s a diffraction limit that limits the resolution of a telescope related to the wavelength, lambda, you’re looking at and the aperture, d, of the telescope (if memory serves, angular resolution = 1.22 * lamba/d). I did this math a while back in a fight with a moon hoaxer, but I recall that the Hubble is an order of magnitude too small to see anything we left on the moon.

That movie mentioned about Father & Son time travel (“About Time”) comes as pretty male-fantasy-fulfillment and sort of creepy when you think about the context. I haven’t seen it though so I can’t pass judgement but my wife and I got pretty irate when was watched the trailer.
The trailer had me intrigued so I went and saw the movie when it came out. I’m glad I did because I found it to be a sort of chick flick for guys. They essentially make fun of the bits I’m assuming you find creepy and instead it turns into some funny moments if you’re a fan of British humour. Another thing I liked is apart from the love story there’s a pretty strong father- son relationship theme that underpins the whole movie. So yea I found it to be a fun watch!
and *A it helps sometimes when you’re author is also a poet and the narrator can sing. Guy Gavriel Kay’s A Song for Arbonne has a few songs throughout and Euan Morton does a great job of singing making the moments as impactful as you know the author intended them to be.
The show was called Bizarre and was hosted by John Byner. It was on Showtime in the early 80’s. Used to love Super Dave on that show.

I’m really happy that is reading Murakami. Easily one of my favorite authors! The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle was the first book of his that I read and it was amazing. I’ve only read like four of his books but I have more on the shelf. Thanks for reminding me!

22/11/63 was great up until King obviously couldn’t decide what to do with the present time before the final trip and it all went a bit Langoliers.
If you like action SF try James S A Corey’s Expanse Trilogy or Neal Asher’s Owner Trilogy.
Couldn’t deal with Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go because I’ve watched The Island and got the plot a couple of chapters in.
