Ah, the show that was two parts modern-day Ghost Hunters, a touch of the Twilight Zone and if you squinted, a little bit of Ripley’s Believe It or Not. I remember that fondly from when it went into syndication.
It really annoys me when Will and Norm mispronounce GIF. Everyone knows that the first three letters are actually silent.

Edge of Tomorrow is based on a Japanese novel called ‘All You Need Is Kill’, which wasn’t too bad a read but not particularly deep. The manga came later.
That Dan Aykroyd show Will was trying to remember was “PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal” (1996-2000).

Skrillex wrote the song that’s played when they go into Hero’s Duty and the battle begins. There’s no official theme (unless you count the 8-bit arcade game theme song, which is my RINGTONE — oh, yes) but several artists contributed to some catchy songs on the CD. I can’t play that candy-themed Mario Kart 8 track without hearing the Sugar Rush song.

I’ve been testing out Adobe Line with a dumb stylus as a replacement for Paper by fiftythree for my digital art and I’ve managed to get some decent results even without the better Adonit PixelPoint styli, but there’s a weird bug which, once I’ve gotten quite far in terms of detail, is turning the canvas (temporarily) all black (sometimes white) until I leave the image and go back in (and then wait a little). Hopefully that gets ironed out.
I still demand to see proof. I think Will is thinking of the second one.
Is Edge of Tomorrow really worth a watch? I saw the trailer and…Damn, it looked awful. Hackneyed, overwrought and with an overinflated idea of its own cleverness. Is it just a really bad trailer?
How Did This Get Made? did a great episode on Nothing But Trouble. I haven’t seen it, but that movie sounds like a disaster.
Of course, there is no 3 just for the reason of it being dangerous to your health if it existed.
