As a premium member it’s really frustrating how many of the videos/content that I love here.. either have messed up sound or video.. makes me sad face 🙁

Hah, I was able to watch by syncing the audio-only version with the video-only version.
It’s a cunning test of course to see who is capable of synchronising audio to video. Only the nimble-fingered get the full user experience!

One quick point re: Snowden’s release vs Sony release: my understanding is that Snowden gave the documents to a very select group of journalists who he trusted whereas the Sony hackers published their documents to the whole internet. Snowden trusted the journalists he contacted to determine what should and should not be published.

Time for a Korean lesson. My Korean skills are usually useless.
감자(gam-cha) fries at 나무(namoo).
감자 means potato, while 나무 means tree. There is a Korean trend of naming restaurants by adding ‘namoo’ in the title. FYI.
I have never seen those type of fries in Seoul. If I ever make it to SF, I would love to try them.
Should Sony have even produced “The Interview”? How would the US react if some other country produced a film about assassinating the current president? I’m sure it was a halarious movie, but it’s in bad taste to begin with.

Odd that Adam doesn’t watch cable TV or see much reason to subscribe, when his main income is from a cable TV show. It’d be interesting to hear his reflections on where that’s going – will Mythbusters still be financially viable if no-one watches Discovery with adverts? Could it have started up without cable money behind it? (Not even mentioning the recently sensitive question of talent salary bills…)
