I totally forgot that CES was happening until I saw a random headline in my RSS on Wednesday. Need a podcast to tell me if there’s anything I should care about.
If you guys are still in Vegas GO TO HASH HOUSE A GO GO. It is one of my favorite breakfasts in town. Also there is an RC fly space / runway in East Vegas by the silverdome. Check it out.
I don’t know if anyone was new to your White Elephant party, but we have always called it Dirty Santa and White Elephant was a variation of Dirty Santa that was crap/joke gifts.

we do a gift exchange game in our family each year where we all bring 3-4 small packages with a $4-6 value (each) and we roll a dice for them
All the presents are placed in the center of the table, you then roll 1 dice going clockwise around the table, if you roll a 6 you get to pick a present, this continues until there are no more presents left, then a countdown is set by 1 person without letting the others know how long it is, i usually do a random number between 10 and 20 minutes, now you continue trying to get a 6 but now you get to steal presents from everyone else and when the timer ends you are stuck with whatever the outcome may have been, if you have no presents? tough luck (but we are usually good at stealing from the person with the most presents) and if you cleared the table? good for you, it’s all or nothing.
this year i spiced it up a bit to see my grandma’s reaction, so i brought a blindfold/sleepingmask with the words “SexSlave” embroidered on it, a stressball shaped as a penis, and a box of penis shaped gummies/candy.. her face was priceless when she saw them

2015 is the year I have tech with burnout with screen tech. I just don’t care about cellphones or moniters, tablets or tv’s any more. My true 1080p tv with sharpening looks just as good as a new 4k tv in best buy, my android phone works, I can look up stuff and call people. Until I can have holographic princess lea standing in my room saying ” you’re my only hope ” I’m done…. Everything not screen tech i’m onboard with and wish you would stack more content accordingly.
It have been a bad couple of days. Thanks for making me happy today.

I once went to a Christmas party and participated in a White Elephant exchange which had a $15-20 spending limit. I opted to to open a new gift which turned out to be two Snickers bars in a box… Needless to say no one stole the gift from me.
The omega is awesome. A 1963 hard drive is a museum piece that sits on a shelf. A 1963 Omega watch is still practical and beautiful technology.
