Not had the chance to see it yet… @ work 🙁
but when I saw the time cover i thought to myself; ‘Self! Will Smith off of tested will be pleased about this picture” 🙂
Norm is only mixing the audio stuff up because he has no idea what Will usually does for audio since Norm never wears his damn headphones 😛
could RP1 be split up in stages/hunts like other book adaptation movies? (fx. hunger games)
Can’t see the video. I can tell it was viewed by some people, but now it isn’t available.
Jeff Bridges as Ogden Morrow! Make it happen!

I really disliked the aspect of Ready Player One where “winning” the contest was to look to the past with rose colored glasses while the obvious problems (and amazing technologies!) of the present (of the book) are just glossed over or ignored. I really thought the book was building toward a rejection of that nostalgia to get the characters to fix the present, but, nope, it played it straight to the end.
Missing the critique of unchecked nostalgia was a big disappointment to me.
I use T-Mobile because of WiFi Calling. It’s the only way I can make calls in my house. Up until recently it was only on select Android phones but I think they announced it would be on all T-Mobile branded Android and Apple phones. I’m glad Apple adopted it, it’s really such an obvious thing to do, I don’t understand what everybody is waiting for.
I knew I liked for a reason.
Fellow Eagle Scout (though it was a long time ago)
Thank you for the link to the Imperial Shuttle that Jeremy made, Sean!
One of the biggest hurdles to doing an accurate film of Ready Player One is getting licensing the use of all those pop-culture icons, be it video games, Anime, etc.
Fantastic podcast – sorry Will, Norm did an awesome job. He even sort of brought back fake outtakes.
Norm did a great job on the podcast, but I still think the podcast is better with Will on it.
Norm – Awesome JOB !!
I wish Norm would speak up more in other podcasts. I enjoy hearing what he has to say a lot more. This was really a joy to listen to! Great job Norm!!!!
