  1. Thought there may have been more of a big deal made of this, was there a big farewell sort of thing in the live show?

  2. Strangest show clash still has to be the CES and the Porn convention lol I missed the years when the High End Audio shared the same hotel as the porn but heard many stories of hifi dems in rooms next to S&M rooms.

I did get to witness the porno pyjama party parade for a couple of years when attending though and one unmistakable night in the venetian when two starlets started a fist fight in the bar on the lower level lmao

  3. At the end of the live show, Will presented about a 10-15 minute history of Tested and Norm and Adam both feted him throughout the show as well. At the reception afterwards, they had a cake with the Len Peralta-designed Geek-a-Week trading card image of Will printed on the icing.

Thought there may have been more of a big deal made of this, was there a big farewell sort of thing in the live show?

  4. Clash of Clans and Boom Beach charge you to upgrade faster. Basically you pay to not have to wait for the build times or to have to save up the resources.

I really enjoy both games but I don’t spend much money on them. I think I maybe put $30 total into Clash and 0 into Boom, but for the amount of fun I’ve had I don’t feel bad about that. $30 is cheaper than most console games.

  5. I have an answer to the VR ubiquity problem but need your help I sent you an email a few days ago but I don’t know that your email for Tested works anymore. My idea might even help you out. I’m really excited for your product if it is what I think it is.

  6. I played Candy Crush for a few weeks without spending a penny on it, I reached a level where I only had one item to clear and had 40 moves left to do so but none of the colours I required came along so I just deleted the game right there.

  7. Its been an awesome time Will, and it was awesome running into you at Comic Con this year. Despite my being banned on the ole TF2 server (rightfully and way back in the day haha) I have enjoyed all of your content and will miss you on the site. I look forward to seeing you on as a guest as well as what your company has in store for the world.

  8. Going to miss you Will but hopefully you’ll be back for visits on Tested now and then? Good luck with your new venture!

  9. Almond Joys do not have almonds? Dearest Will, I beg to differ. The chocolate is lame, the coconut is ok but the candy (at least on the East Coast) has almonds.

FYI – I do not work for the candy company.

  10. We combine both of our kids candy and then sort it by type of candy in bread bags (it helps when you want to quickly steal a piece).

  11. For managing Halloween candy for small kids you can take the toy exchange one step further if you don’t want it to be a straight up transaction. The kids pick a couple pieces they can have, and the rest gets left out for the Great Pumpkin who exchanges the candy for a toy or other item. Worked up until about 8 years old.

  12. Our new Prime Minister here in Canada is a Star War fan…and on Halloween dressed up as Han Solo, and his wife as Leia. How cool is that!

  13. So… I know that it’s probably not Norm’s strong suit, but I kind of expected the end of the show to include a minute for Will to say “farewell”. As it was, he had to kind of shout “bye!” from the background as Norm raced to end the show.

I mean, your show is long and rambling by nature. That’s one of the things that I like about it. I never feel that you are rushing through a topic. When you’re done, you’re done. Bust this time, at around 1 hour and 39 minute(estimated), suddenly Norm says “We have to end the show!” Um… Why? You’ve had 2 hour podcasts in the past.

I still love the show and site, but this was bungled.

  14. Best of luck to you on the next chapter of your life Will! I am definitely going to miss your energy and sense of humor on the show, along with all the
unique interests you contribute. It’s a relief to hear you will be
sticking around and I look forward to seeing you as a future guest on This is
Only a Test, as well as LEGO With Friends. Thank you for the many hours of entertainment you have provided! Cheers!

  15. First Ana, then Gary, and now Will. This makes me sad. I still have hope left for the return of the WANGcast.

Farewell Will, thanks for all the great times, good luck in the future and I hope we’ll see you around!

  16. Hmm you were seeing shame picts of Halloween on Halloween morning after the end of Daylight Savings time before Daylight Savings time had ended or Halloween Eve had occurred? Sorry but for the times you smacked Norm down for the same thing I have to smack you down on your “last” This is Only a Test. Go home Will you must be drunk.

  17. Would be nice if someone could drop a line to explain who these halloween characters you talk about are, for those of use that don’t obsess over star wars/trek.. Ok I know luke, obi wan etc. But “Ray” is a star wars character now? I thought you mean Ray charles, but didn’t sound like it. I forget what the other character Jeremy mentioned, but I have no idea who it is.

  18. It was a shame that there wasn’t a goodby Will section but I think that’s coming up in the videos from the live show.

As for the length of the show it’s normally shorter when they have a slower news week and it runs it’s course, or if they have something to do/somewhere to be
