  1. I feel so proud every time you guys hightlight the “What have you been testing”-jingle I made for you! Makes me feel on top of the world.

No sir, no banjo. Just drums, bass and electric guitars with some crazy effects.

  2. To any Tesla cross-country travelers;

Interstate 80, Angola, Indiana (Interstate 69 Exit)

The Supercharger is located next to a restaurant called Six Autumns. They have over 150 different types of bourbon, and numerous craft beers. I can’t recommend the Knickerburger enough. Also, I can’t recommend running through the beer or bourbon lists, and jumping back into your Tesla.

  3. Ugh, the testing interstitial kills me, the high pitch of it makes me want to pull my headphones out….Sorry ChristofferSjosten.

Another great show, great to hear Will back on the show!

  4. Will and Norm: You should be able to claim the Kickstarter Rift directly from Kickstarter. Just log in to the account on Kickstarter and there is a new survey to fill out for Oculus Rift.

  5. Will’s back!! 😀 *Kermit Flail*

Is it weird that I mirrored the video when I put it on just now? 😛

    #ChangeIsScary

  6. Norm said that his Geocities name was “deth frantic” in episode 329 around 75 minutes in. However, my search skills are failing me and I’m close to giving up. CONTINUE MY SEARCH!

  7. I really enjoyed having the ‘old’ team back together. The conversation that the three of you have is always so genuine and never seems forced. Great episode, guys!

  8. Jeremy’s doubts have gotten me thinking…. for example. If your VR world has to render at 90hz, then does the game inside the VR world also have to render at 90hz? And what happens if the game-within-the-game is kind of unstable and crashes the GPU driver…. does it take down the whole VR world with it?

It feels strange how they are having to put safety thought into software… it seems like most consumer PC software makers have always relied on the good old “No Warranty is implied” clause in their licenses for the past 30+ years.

  9. Will upload Chloe to VR so we can all have virtual lobster dog, with the right AI she might even go singularity.

  10. Glad to see the trio back!

I am really hoping that the whole VR industry just fails like Palm pilots….VR is still a hokey gimmick no matter how much money you throw at it. I really felt like Oculus really bait and switched us with the whole 600 dollar price point and I hope they understand it will kill the product for their target audience 600 is so much teens wont buy it and its so much that the neutered man children wont be allowed by their wives to buy them.

I have done literally thousands of SVTC’s and tele presence meetings from all over the world and not once did I say “hey, I wish this was VR”

  11. But what if all the participants were naked! It´s the FUTURE!

Just listen to the Giantbeast cast this week and their very indepth “p.o.r.n. in VR” discussion.

P.S. What exactly is a neutered man child? Somebody who asks his wife before gambling away the farm? Yeah, f— those guys!

  12. Vancouver Cabs have issues due to the close towns beside Vancouver if your cab company is not registered in each outskirt city you cannot pick up in that city so each city has its own. Plus they close automated transit early so they don’t affect the cab companies. Sorry , I apologize for the issues :D.

  13. bit late, but: The album you’re thinking of is The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions, by Seu Jorge. It was a companion album to the soundtrack of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. It’s really great, the entire album is basically a very spare arrangement of Bowie covers with just guitar and vocals. Beautiful and haunting.
