This is only Bagel’s second appearance on the podcast if I am not mistaken…
A few times last year as well, though I can’t remember when!
Yeah
what software did you use to record Matt? he sounds like he’s sitting in the same room as and
YES!
AH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I like how Will had to think about the year at the beginning of the podcast. You’ll get it eventually, Will!
Where is Gary? He needs to get his lazy British ass into the podcast room more. (Love that Matt is here but I am a big Whitta-head.)
Haha.
My cousin got an iPad for his 18th birthday.
Literally just got to that part, now I feel bad calling a man doing charity work lazy, even in a joking way.
“Eww, that’s not a WANG!”
For the guy with the audio question who has the problem watching Justin TV live on his MacBook, I have that exact problem, and I have a 17″ 2010 MacBook Pro. The video is very choppy, constantly stuttering. But I have a solution. After trying everything in the book, I stumbled on it by accident. I normally have two browser windows open, one for watching on my TV (MBP connected to it, of course), and the other for the chat. Well, when you play Justin TV in two separate windows at the same time, one does that choppy thing, and the other plays fine. Just stop the choppy one and the other will remain playing smoothly. Works every time for me. Steve Jobs was right. Flash sucks.
Yeah… if I had a kid and they wanted a portable, there’s no way I’d get them an iPad over a netbook. How are they suppose to do their homework or anything productive on an iPad? And a netbook will be be 30-50% cheaper, so if they break it there’s not as much crying.
Bagels should be on more often if only to make everyone else be more appreciative to what they have available to them.
Am I the only person who thinks the Macbook Air is completely unappealing and useless?
I think it’s more of a case of “Justin.TV sucks.” I deal with that site on regular basis several times a week and have for over a year, and have dealt with it both on the streamer and watcher end. It’s just a terrible site – regardless of flash. (Sadly it’s the one with the most functionality… go figure.)
Yes
Ditto. My brother got the animated series off of Amazon.
Also, thanks to the guy asking the question about the TV cracking sound! I’ve always wondered what that was and was meaning to ask someone about it, but by that point in the evening I’m usually a couple minutes away from sleep when it happens.
Pfft… those weren’t “real” podcasts 😛
So weird. I just like computers is I guess.
My phone has more storage space than a Macbook Air.
Isn’t the cracking noise related to the expansion and contraction of materials due to temperature fluctuations? My computer and PS3 are beside a door that leads directly outside, and if I open the door on a cold day, (rapidly decreasing the temperature of the room), all my in-use, warm electronic equipment begins to crack as it contracts.
Double out-takes all the way!
Your phone has more than 64gb of storage?
Yea! I saw those when they were announced. The 8460p is the one I have my eye on. They say they’ll be out 3/15, so I think it’s worth the wait to see what the reviews say and what the final pricing is.
My worry is that I’d want the 1600×900 display, and HP has been TERRIBLE with managing inventory on the hi-res display for the Envy 14. It was in stock, then out, then back in, but then the canceled everyone’s order o_O
I rarely get time to listen to more than one WM podcasts but this week I do.
Oh, dang. I thought they only had 32. Still, I’d fill 64GB up pretty fast.
