Firstly hey, great site, loved the iPad stuff so far.
My question is I have an Acer Aspire 6920G with an SPDIF output, that glows red when I input a headphone jack. I am having an issue though when trying to connect my laptop to my amp for my home theatre system. So I have optical outputs on my amp and lovely 5.1 sound. I was wondering how a toslink adapter works and if it would work for connecting my laptop to my amp.
