Podcast - This Is Only a Test

OCTOBERKAST #11 – Enter Chloe Bananas – 10/15/2011

In our final segment, Jeff Gerstmann and Darren Gladstone swing by and have a surprisingly serious conversation about the games industry, games journalism, and other serious business. Then Chloe shows up and the whole thing goes to shit. Most importantly, we raised $50,000 for Child’s Play, which is AMAZING! Thanks for listening, donating, and supporting OCTOBERKAST! We’ll see you guys next year!

  1. Rean just replied to your comment:

    ” Press triangle “

This. You’ll have to press triangle and select “Display All”, which should then reveal the entire contents of the drive. It’s a bit of a weird quirk. “

Yeah Triangle is is the way to do it, then just go through your folders.

The storage device can be either FAT32 or NTFS, but if you wish to back up your PS3 the device will have to be FAT32

  2. Good lord so much podcasting I have to listen to this week. This + Behind the Screened Door + This week’s This is Only A Test and the Giant Bombcast. Fuck me.

  3. Having some trouble with the RSS of this part on my phone podcast app. I can get it the regular way, but you know, you guys aren’t testing phonographs.

  4. For some reason, my iTunes doesn’t see this episode. It’s not listed (properly) in the RSS, or something. No idea what’s wrong, though.

  5. Can you put the fixed file as a new entry? Podcaster is not letting go of the broken entry and I’m not in a position to redownload the 75% of Oktobercast I have left.

  6. It is like Podcast Christmas!!! I am so excited!

Wow. Thank you, Will, for posting all of these episodes. I’m sure there is a great deal of podcasting gold to be found. Honestly, in such volume I would be totally satisfied with podcasting tin or even lead… I’m the type to show up for the banter and walk away a better informed person almost by accident.

You have made my work-week that much more interesting. With a marathon of Octoberkast episodes in my future, how could I go wrong?

    Thanks again!!!

You have succinctly summed up why I love whiskey media podcasts.
