  1. Will you guys also upload the video? Doesn’t really matter, I can just watch it on justin.tv but it’d be nice to see it on the site.

    Seconding this question.

  3. The bit with Mark Rein and Michael Pachter about a new xbox and the Wii-U was really good. I think that other guy with his “bold” prediction wasn’t convincing, though. I love how Mark Rein said to him: “That has nothing to do with hardware, you can do that on this generation […] it’s services; that has nothing to do with the console.”

EDIT: while having many industry dudes in a room at the same time was certainly impressive, I do believe that the podcast would’ve been better if the group size is six or lower (including Will, Norm, and Gary). Just having Will, Gary, Mark Rein, and Michael Pachter would probably have been less chaotic with more time for those two dudes to exchange thoughts. That said, there are plenty of highlights in this podcast.

EDIT 2: Yeah, I should’ve listened to this actual podcast before posting the above. What I was talking about was the talk that was live streamed before the actual podcast. I assumed it would’ve been included here as well. My bad.

What podcast are you listening to?

  5. He’s talking about the pre-podcast stream/chat with people before they started doing the ‘podcast’ itself late into the night. There was some great hardware discussion with a good group of folks.

  6. Yeah, sorry. I had assumed that all of the live stream would’ve been included in this podcast; my bad. You can still catch it on justin.tv’s archive; it’s pretty interesting.

  7. The rest of it is going up, the Mark Rein/Pachter part and video of both should go up later tonight. We had some technical difficulties, so I’m going to have to rip the show from Justin.tv. Sorry about the delay guys. I had to get some sleep last night, or I wouldn’t be functional today.

Hey man, no rush. You guys are doing a great job. Just take good care of yourself.

  8. Just thought that I would correct Will’s statement about Leslie Nielsen’s nationality: he was definitely Canadian.
