We used an app called Baby Connect to keep track of baby sleep/feeding/other stuff and it synchs between phones. This is how I could passively check in on things when I was at work but my wife was still on maternity leave. You can also consent to send the sleep data to a research group looking for connections between baby sleep and autism.

You get up with the baby at 4 am, and want to see how hungry it might be, but want to let your life sleep? check the app. Want to see how long it was asleep for to see how long you are likely to have it awake, or if it maybe just woke up after 20 minutes and doesn’t even need a bottle, just to be soothed, check the app.
Teething and giving medication? track the amount and time so that you track your doses without needing to wake up or call the other person. Think it’s been a while sense you’ve gotten a poop? just check, you can see exactly how long it’s been easily. It’s 100% a life saver.
Please bring back a bunch of Dads. Always loved listening to the series (and still go back to it now and then). It is great hearing the opinions and learning of those who have gone before us.
