Adding to the Icee/Slurpee beverage discussion, here in Europe Iv’e never heard of Icee, but we do have Slurpees… and also the better one… Slush Puppies. Here too, pretty much the same thing, but Slush Puppie is way better. It’s also a lot cooler since it has an awesome mascotte.
I do have to mention that I haven’t had either in decades, and can’t remember the last time I actually saw a machine for either. But I imagine Slush Puppie will come out the ultimate victor in an all out brawl 🙂
Continuing the Slurpee, Icee, Shaved Ice debate I have recently launched an Italian Ice company down in Los Angeles. Italian Ice is a very East Coast treat that just hasn’t been well replicated out West. We use no artificial preservatives, no food coloring and no artificial flavors.
