my first taugt about the movie was that the idea was a bid far fetched.
And then i find out that the bose-einstein thing not only is 100% true, there have been people who got a noble price for building something like that (be it only a few atoms big). maybe you should explain this one day on the ‘Science this week’ part of the podcast

And hopefully someone has already corrected Adam on his technique with the chef’s knife.
If y’all are interested, the helmet is actually an “airsoft IBH tactical helmet” (check Google images).
They use the same helmets (slightly modded) on the USA show “Colony” for the police troops (where one of the armorers told me about them).
Working with fine detail on models with a X-Acto means the rare cut is going to happen. At least for me. I’ve been using Super Glue to put my fingers back together for years now. And my spouse thinks I’m the only crazy one that does that.
Second, also with the crazy looks I get. When working in a commercial kitchen nothing stops the bleeding quicker than super glue, and after a few days it wears off.
You wouldn’t have made any reference measurements of parts of that rifle would you?
I’m trying to model it into multiple parts that I can 3D print, stick together, air brush, etc.
The rulers in all the photos are a good distance away from certain parts which is making it tough for me to get good measurements.
Any measurements would be appreciated! 🙂
