This. Come back Gary! No disrespect to Loyd but he’s easily my least favorite third seat on the show, he can’t seem to stay on the same rail that Will and Norm go off and on on a regular basis.
Loyd Case kinda knows waaaay more about tech than Gary. Take a look at his resume. He has graduate degrees in chemistry, worked in the semiconductor industry and wrote for magazines since the early 90s.
Norm is definitely feeling the intro music 🙂

Love the site and Whiskey Media in general BUT I find that I don’t enjoy the podcast unless Gary is on. Does this make me a bad person?

Whitta has his own job, especially with his Hollywood projects starting soon.
I enjoy Loyd on the podcast because he’s nearly a polar opposite to Gary. Loyd’s presence seems to bring out Will & Norm’s days at MaxPC and incites PC talk. At least Loyd has the decency to pay attention to a topic in which he’s not interested. Gary’s disinterest is funny at first, and then it just becomes rude while Will struggles to instigate a conversation.
I want a podcast of just Loyd explaining how some neat new games he found work to another person. Get Loyd and Will in there and have Loyd tell Will (and by extension, me) how these games work. I keep looking for something new and fun, but I have trouble doing that without feeling overwhelmed.
