Adam pushes the limits of his machining skills as he moves onto the next part of his Hellboy Samaritan prop replica build. In making the closure latch of the Good Samaritan, he has to make something that’s not only aesthetically accurate, but functions as a working mechanism as well. It’s going to require some precise engineering!

For working with Aluminum, use Boelube. It will help keep the aluminum from galling up on drill bits and sanding discs, etc. Can be used on other materials too. Will also work on bandsaw blades for the same reasons. It can even be bought on Amazon. Or another option that works on bandsaws, although I don’t think as well, is Beeswax. Beeswax does have a nice aroma once it heats up on the blade, so there is that.
